After a satisfying career as a hairdresser, Kent went to work in Cleburne for Cowan Costumes, then the main costume supplier for the Chuck-E-Cheese franchise.
Kent passed away on New Years Day of 1997 in Cleburne from complications related to juvenile diabetes. On that day, the world lost a man of enormous talent, intellect, humor, and style, becoming a much less fabulous place.
Kent is survived by his parents, his sister and her family, and very dear friends who miss him every single day.
Grandson of Alfred and Bethel Pope Bryant and Pete and Mattie Fern Self Smith.

Everett, Wash - Graveside services for Kent Eugene Bryant, 32, of Everett, Wash., will be conducted Friday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. in Cleburne Memorial Park. Dr. James Finley will officiate.
Mr. Bryant died Wednesday, Jan. 1, in a regional hospital.
He was born Sunday, Nov. 29, 1964, in Cleburne, the son of Errol Gene Bryant and Dellya Smith Bryant.
Mr. Bryant was a hair stylist.
Survivors include his parents, Errol Gene Bryant and Dellya Smith Bryant of Everett, Wash.; one sister, Genya Curry of Dublin; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Smith of Cleburne and Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Bryant of Granbury.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. in Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
