Kent was born Nov. 29, 1964 in Cleburne to Gene and Dellya Bryant. He attended school in Everman and Cleburne, graduating from Cleburne High School in 1983. For a short time, he attended North Texas State University (now UNT) in Denton, but college life was not Kent's calling.
After a satisfying career as a hairdresser, Kent went to work in Cleburne for Cowan Costumes, then the main costume supplier for the Chuck-E-Cheese franchise.
Kent passed away on New Years Day of 1997 in Cleburne from complications related to juvenile diabetes. On that day, the world lost a man of enormous talent, intellect, humor, and style, becoming a much less fabulous place.
Kent is survived by his parents, his sister and her family, and very dear friends who miss him every single day.
