Beverley Louise "Bevie" Martin Lowry returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 11, 2003 with her family gathered around her.
She was born in Tooele, Utah on October 3, 1923 to George Wayne Martin and Jennie Elizabeth Terresa Sorensen. She married the love of her life William Francis Lowry on March 3, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had three children born in Tooele and completed their family with a fourth child born in Salt Lake.
Beverley grew up in Lakepoint, Utah and later moved to Tooele. It was there that she and Francis began their family. They later moved to Salt Lake where she lived until the time of her death. She was a member of the LDS Church devoting over 60 years to music. She took piano lessons as a child, but her mastery of the organ was self taught. She loved to play the organ. She spent many hours at her own organ with her little companion, Ginny her poodle, at her side, and her husband close by enjoying the beauty of her music.
Survived by her husband, William Francis Lowry; daughters, Kaye F. Lowry, Merlynn Lowry and Stacey (David) Liddiard; son, Ron Lowry; sister, Audrey McClaws; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, two brothers and her daughter-in-law, Sandy S. Lowry.
