Vada Marie Brooks, age 92, of Dodson, LA passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2005 in Winnfield, LA. She was born December 28, 1912 in Dodson, LA and was a homemaker.
Funeral services were held at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Strawbridge and Rev. Keith Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Siloam Cemetery in Gansville, LA under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro, LA.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty and husband Roy D. Jordan of Dodson, LA; one sister, Ms. Edna Erhoim of Dodson, LA; four grandchildren, Iris and Bruce Lazarus of Winnfield, LA, Jena Burnett of Dodson, LA, Royce Duane Jordan and wife Connie of Dodson, LA, Ryan Dion Jordan and wife Tonya of Dodson, LA; seven great grandchildren, Duane, Trevor and Mercedes Jordan, Seth Logan Cox and Daniel Wesley Cox, Nathan Jordan Lazarus, Justin Scott Burnett; and one great great grandchild, Gracee.
Pallbearers were Royce Duane Jordan, Ryan Dion Jordan, Duane Jordan, Trevor Jordan, Daniel Cox, and Justin Burnett.
