"Denver C. Jamerson --- Cottonwood --- Funeral services for Denver Charles Jamerson were conducted at the First Baptist Church here yesterday by the Rev. Lyndell Kuns.

"Interment was in the Cottonwood District Cemetery.

"Funeral services were under the direction of McDonald's Anderson Chapel.

"Pallbearers were Hugh Gibson, Edwin Jacobsen, Dell Phebbs, William Petersen, Edward Petersen and Gordon Dawson.

"Jamerson, a resident of Cottonwood for 55 years, died at a Redding hospital March 17. He was 76.

"He was born in Denver, Colo., Feb. 17, 1890.

"Before retiring, Jamerson was a member of a Shasta County insect abatement crew for 10 years.

"He leaves his widow, Susie Jamerson of Cottonwood; three daughters, Mrs. Elma Bates of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Esther Mitchell of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Mrs. Mary Langley of Redding; two sons, Paul of Hayward and Charles of Indio; a sister, Mrs. Grace Coon of Chico; and 16 grandchildren."
