Believing in being prompt, Mr. Allen was always on time, usually early. Although he suffered a slight handicap on his right side, he never let it stop him in his day- to- day activities.
Surviving are sisters and brother- in- law Margie Allen of Porterdale, Hilda Ayers and Linda and James Sorrow; brothers and sistersin- law Peter Allen, Charles and Cathy Allen, Tony and Judy Allen, all of Covington; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held May 13 in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Richard Culpepper officiating. Interment followed at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
