Robert Samuel Parrott was born in 1852 to Noah Tyre McKinsey and Mary Nichols Parrott. This couple had eleven children. Robert Samuel married Amanda Curry about 1878, she died in 1886. Robert Samuel and Amanda Curry had four children. Robert Samuel remarried to Nancy "Nannie" Ann Barber, about 1887, and they had seven children.
