MRS. OSCAR EBERHARDT DIES OF LOCKJAW.

Mrs. Oscar Eberhardt Dies Suddenly.

Mrs. Oscar Eberhardt, whose home was but a short distance southeast of Plymouth, passed away shortly after noon Monday, her death coming as a great shock to her family and friends. She was taken ill Sunday afternoon but her condition was not considered serious until the following morning when there was a decided change for the worse, the disease terminating in lock jaw. While everything was done to relieve her it proved of no avail and she breathed her last as above stated.
Mrs. Eberhardt, who was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Friedrich of this city, would have completed her thirty-ninth year on the 19th of this month, having been born May 19, 1864, in the town of Herman and had always made her home in this vicinity. She was married to Oscar Eberhardt on the 30th of January, 1887, and he survives her together with two sons and one daughter, besides whom she leaves her parents and five sisters, Mesdames Carl Mohs, Henry Jens and Fred Ross in the town of Plymouth, Mrs. Otto Leifer and Miss Emilie Friedrich of the city.
The funeral takes place from the house at one o'clock Friday afternoon, followed by services at the Lutheran church and the interment will be made in the city cemetery.
