Lawrence Earl Hampton, 88, of Chesterfield, died February 12, 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma.
Survivors include his daughter, Juanita Y. Roberts and her husband, Kenneth; three grand-children, Robert F. Crowe Jr., Bryan R. Cox, and Karen R. Malkemus; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hampton was retired from Philip Morris with over 26 years of service.
His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (today) and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m Friday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elkhardt Baptist Church.
