Marilyn P. nee Baker, Bolin 78, of Sullivan, died 4:10 a.m. Monday (February 21, 2005) in the Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the Greenhill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

Mrs. Bolin was born September 21, 1926 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Arthur L. and Mildred Pence Baker. Marilyn graduated from the Sullivan schools, attended Eastern Illinois University, was the personnel manager for Brach Candy Company in Sullivan, retiring in 1990, was formerly active in the Moultrie County Historical Society and the Moultrie County Republican Women, helped organize her high school class reunions, was a board member for the Titus Presbyterian Memorial Home, and a member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan. She married John W. McNutt in 1946 and later married Don J. Bolin in 1980. They preceded her in death as did her parents.

Surviving are her sons, William A. McNutt and his wife, Barbara of Decatur, John W. McNutt II and his wife, Patricia of Springfield, Arthur W. McNutt and his wife, Susan of Athens; stepsons, Alan Bolin and his wife Ruth Bolin, Glen Bolin and his wife Jane both of Sullivan, and Jane's twin sister, Jean Belcher and her husband, Tom of Mattoon; grandchildren, Alison, Aaron, Jeff, John III, Sarah, William, Ian and Laz McNutt; stepgrandchildren, John, Julie and Brianne Bolin, and Payge Shagemann.
