Thomas Henry White was born on February 16, 1947 in Clark County, Mississippi to Mr. Henry Ford White and Mrs. Lena Stanley White. He passed away from this life on November 13, 2021 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
He was a United States Army Veteran and cherished by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Chandler White; his son, Thomas Dewayne White (Dorothy) of Shubuta, MS; step-sons, Howard Chandler of Ellisville, MS, and William Chandler (Joann) of Sumrall, MS; by his brother, William White (Sandra K.) of Shubuta, MS; sisters Patricia Ishee (Joe) of Mendenhall, MS, and Ann Bradshaw (Timmy) of Shubuta, MS; and by his two grandchildren, and eight step-grandchildren. Also surviving him in death was his aunt, Louis Walker; she was his caregiver, and loved him more than he knew.
We thank her for all the help that she had given, and all the time she invested in Tommy.
Preceding him in death was his late wife, Johnnie Faye White; and his parents, Henry and Lena White.
He will be greatly missed, and forever loved.
Visitation for Mr. White will take place at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, MS, from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery, in Heidelberg, MS at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
