Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Valley Funeral Home chapel for Hugh Cox, who died Saturday at Hoemako Hospital. He was 80. Services will be at !0 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Rev. Ken Mayhall, of the Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Cox was born May 27, 1903 in Buffalo, Arkansas. He had resided in the Eloy area for 43 years. He was a retired custodian from the Picacho School District, where he worked from 1950 until 1972.
He is survived by his sons: Raymond Cox, of Santa Rosa, CA, Hugh J. T. Cox, of CA, Rease Cox, of Los Angeles, CA, and Bobby Cox of Shaffer, CA; daughters: Della Irene Carver, of Phoenix, Nettie Arine Ogle, of Eloy, Lois Vaughn, of Wickenburg. and Imogene Von Aschen, of NJ; brother, Woodrow Cox, of Los Angeles; sisters: Nettie Woods and Beulah Cox, both of Stillwell, OK; 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
