MONTY G. MARTIN, age 89, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009 in Houston, TX. Monty is preceded in death by his beloved wife Vera, and son Daryl. Survivors include sons: Phil Martin and wife Linda, Myron Martin and wife Dana; grandchildren: Michelle, Michael, Molly, William and Amelia. Monty was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Graduate School of Geology. He served with the United States Army during WWII in the European Theater and retired with the rank of Major. He worked for Texas Gas Transmission for 40 plus years and retired as Vice President. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.- 1200 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2009 with a 12:30 service at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial
