EFLAND - Mrs. Mildred Nichols Graham, 93, of 3201 US 70 West, Efland, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at 4:06 p.m. at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

She was a native of Orange County, a dedicated, lifelong member of Efland United Methodist Church and a past member of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Graham was also a kindergarten teacher assistant and a volunteer with the Red Cross. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include a son, Aubrey D. "Buster" Graham Jr. and wife, Shirley, of Efland; daughters, Helen G. Eller and Louise Graham, both of Efland, Doris Petty, of Hillsborough, Judy Sims and husband, David, of Charlotte and Kay Schmitz and husband, Dieter, of Coconut Creek, Fla.; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Daniel Graham Sr.; parents, Jesse B. Nichols and Vadie L. Bacon Nichols; five brothers; sons-in-law, Carl Eller and Vernon Petty; granddaughter, Johanna Petty; and great-granddaughter, Jorden Pyocha.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Efland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cindy Lister presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007, at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane and at other times at the residence of the son at 3216 US 70 West, Efland, NC 27243.
