COMANCHE, Okla. -- Leo Eldridge Beck, 73, of Comanche died Monday, Sept. 28, 1998, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Comanche with Brother David Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of Morehead-Goetz Funeral Home.

Mr. Beck was born June 11, 1925, in Comanche. He and Evelyn McCord Beck were married March 23, 1949, in Comanche.

He was an oil field supervisor and a member of the Lions Club. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, where he was Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Kevin Beck of Greenwood, Ark.; a daughter, Karla Fisher of Comanche; five sisters, Josephine Bowman, Shirley Bowman, Billie Miears and Rera Trent, all of Comanche, and Betty Deger of Duncan, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
