ANNA H FAIRGRIEVE

LONACONING ‹ Anna H. Fairgrieve, 85, of 17405 Lower Georges Creek Road, Lonaconing, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center, Frostburg.

Born Jan. 24, 1914, at Lonaconing, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Barclay) Smith. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Helen Moses.

Mrs. Fairgrieve was a homemaker, and formerly was a co-owner of the Fairgrieve Arco Gas Station, Lonaconing. She was Presbyterian by faith.

Surviving are her husband, Lester Fairgrieve; two daughters, Mary Kay Duckworth, LaVale, and Jean Moore, Beaufort, N.C.; three grandchildren, Marsha Wright, Mark Moses, and Tammy Martin; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Wednesday, Jan. 5 from 12 to 2 p.m.

The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ellis Kretschmer officiating.

Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Frostburg Village of Allegany County Nursing Care Center.
