Born April 5, 1913, in Pemiscot County, Mo., daughter of the late Ross and Roselle Lumpkins Adkins, she was an employee of the Brown Shoe Company and a member of the Central Church of Christ.
She married Ira Neely, who preceeded her in death in 1977. She was also preceeded in death by one brother, Clell Adkins; one sister, Muriel Chilton and one great nephew, Mark Johnecheck.
Survivors include two nieces; 2 great-nephews and one great niece.
Funeral services were Friday, January 31, at the Central Church of Christ in Caruthersville with Jimmy Colvett officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
