Jason Richard Godwin, 25, of Wills Point died Aug. 24, 2009, at his home.
He was born Nov. 30, 1983, in McKinney, son of Richard and Mindy Godwin. He loved driving his truck, which was also his profession.
Mr. Godwin proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. He was a loving husband and father.
Survivors are his wife, Ariel Godwin; sons Rhett and Micah; his father of Garland and his mother of Anna; sisters Ashley Wilkins of Austin and Jeni Boatwright of Oklahoma; a niece, Jaiden; and a nephew, Riley.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, L.W. Godwin and Wiliam B. Reno.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
