Robert Wilson (Willie) Paul, 69, retired farmer of the Pawley Swamp section of Horry County, died May 7, 1964.

Mr. Paul was born in the Pawley Swamp section of Horry County Sept. 27, 1894 a son of Nathan E. and Mary Wilson Paul. He attended the Pawley Swamp Primitave Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War I, having served in the US Army in France. He was a member of the American Legion Post 111 of Conway and a member of Wildcat Veterans Association.

Surviving are six sons, Moses B. Paul, Cheraw SC, M. Sgt E. Corbett Paul in Germany; T.SGTL Bennie F. Paul, in Germany, A1C Earl Paul of New York; Gene T. Paul, Conway; three daughters Mrs. Richard C. (Charlotte) Eason, Rt. 2 Conway, Mrs. Walter B. (Lelia) Roberts, Rt. 2 Conway, Mrs. Richard A. (Emmie) Thruston, Asheboro NC; one brother John B. Paul, Rt.3 Loris; and one sister Mrs. T. K. (Fannie) Cook, Rt.2 Conway and 32 grandchildren.
