Mary Luanne Bruce Singleton, 85, Clarksville, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.
Born Dec. 21, 1923, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Zetta Gehlbach Bruce.
She was a homemaker, caregiver and member of Silver Street United Methodist Church in New Albany.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amouel K. Singleton, and five siblings.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Ison of Clarksville; two grandchildren; a step-grandchild; and a great-grandson.
Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 2, after 10 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
Funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 2, at noon in the Kraft Chapel followed by private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the adult ministry at Silver Street United Methodist Church, 413 Silver St., New Albany, IN 47150.
