Mrs. George Ludlam

Mrs. Hallie L. Ludlam (nee Smith), 56, died at her Wellington home Friday morning after heart attack.

Born in Frametown, W.Va., she had been a Wellington resident for the past 35 years,
operating Hallie's Beauty Shop in her home for many years before retiring 10 years ago.

Mrs. Ludlam is survived by her husband, George, to whom she was married for 40 years: two daughters, Mrs. Susan Southerland and Mrs Carrol Wilhelm, both of Wellington; a son, Jon, of Seymour, Conn.; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Charles, Thurl, Blange and Ed Smith, all of California; and two sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Unger and Mrs. Gertrude Keiper, both of California.

There will be no visitations.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the First United Methodist Church of Wellington by the pastor, the Rev. William Rugg.

The Cowling-Truman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests that memorial contributions, if desired, be made to the Wellington Senior Citizens Association.
