"James H. Pinkstone, 71, a bookkeeper at the Oneida County Home for the last 10 years, died yesterday in a Rome hospital after an illness of several weeks. Born in Utica Oct. 2, 1879, he was the son of William and Margaret Thomas Pinkstone. He married Mae Weir who died 12 years ago. He was a clerk in the Utica Post Office before coming to Rome. Survivors include an aunt, Mrs. Lottie Robbins, Utica, and several cousins, among them Miss Lillian Reese, Utica, and Sam Pinkstone, Kirkland."
