James Little Allred, 63, of 617 Douglas, Life-long resident of Weber county, died today at six-thirty a.m. He was driving to work when he slumped over the wheel. The car ran into the curb at Twelfth and Washington. doctors said death was caused from a heart attack, the results of acute indigestion. He had been under docotr's care.
Mr. Allred was born in Slaterville, April 8, 1879, a son of John and Mary Knight Allred. He had resided in Ogden for the past 20 years. He was associated with his son, J. Norman Allred, plumbing contractor. He was a member of the L.D.S. Eighth ward. He married Inez Moore in Blackfoot, Idaho, in April, 1904.
Surviving are his widow, the following children; J. Norman Allred, Ogdne; Orland W. Allred, Boise, Idaho; Miss LaVerda Allred, Ogden; two brothers, Clarence Allred, Slaterville; william Allred, Rigby, Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Ann Corey, Ogden, and one granddaughter, Geraldine Allred, Ogden.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at two p.m. in the Eight ward chapel by Bishop F. L. Allen. Friends may call at the family home Sunday afternoon and evening and Monday until time of services. Interment will be in Ogden city cemetery, directed by Lindquist & Sons' mortuary.
