Based on the birth places of their children, the family was in Kansas in the early 1870s and in California in the late 1870s and for the 1880 US census.
The family had settled in Courtland, Republic County, Kansas by the 1885 Kansas census. The family included: A.J. Campbell age 38 born in New York, Jennie age 34 born in Pennsylvania, Sadie age 12 born in Kansas, Gracie age 10 born in Kansas, Ada age 6 born in California, Mabel age 3 born in Kansas, Andrew J. age 4 months born in Kansas.
Jennie and Andrew apparently divorced sometime in the mid 1890s and Andrew left the area. Jennie was listed as divorced in the 1900 US census for Scandia, Republic County, Kansas. With her were daughter Mabel age 19 and son Floyd age 12 born in Kansas. The census record also indicated that Jennie was born in June, 1853, was a mother of six children, all six children were living, and she was a dressmaker.
In August, 1902 Jennie about age 51 married Albert “Al” Myrick about age 59. He was also divorced. They lived in Esbon, Kansas.
Jennie died in September, 1912. She was buried with her second husband in the Esbon Cemetery, Esbon, Kansas. The gravestone says she died on September 24, but a newspaper notice said September 26.
