Former Hayward, Wisconsin resident, Norman C. Holm, recent resident of Port Orchard, Washington, passed away November 29, 2002, at Harrison Hospital, Bremerton, Washington, at age 80. He was born January 16th, 1922 in Ashland, Wisconsin to Magnus and SophiaHolm.He served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a bombardier in WWII from March 13, 1942 to October 13, 1945. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal and 3 Oak Leaf Clusters. He was an avid golfer and loved to travel and garden. He wasa wonderful husband, father and friend to all who knew him.He is survived by his wife, Jean Holm of Port Orcahrd; one son, Warren (Becky) Holm of Elk Mound, Wisconsin; daughters, Kathleen (Bob) Holevatz of Ashland, Wisconsin and Caroline (Jonathan) Falconerof Washburn, Wisconsin; and 2 step daughters, Linda Lee of Silverdale, Washington and Donna (Dave) Alfano of Gig Harbor, Washington; sisters Doris (Earl) Giese of Columbus, Georgia and Agnes Nelson of Ashland, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild;and his beloved cat Niki.He was preceded in death by his brother Arthur and sister Marie.Interment will be at the Tahoma National Veteran's Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
