Alifair was a midwife. Her parents were Richard and Mary Jane Wiley Williamson. She was the granddaughter of Jenny Sellards Wiley (Memorial 12253 for her story) and Tom Wiley (Memorial 15689845 a Revolutionary War solider). There is a state park in Kentucky honoring Jenny Wiley, a true American heroine. Many of Alifair's descendants carry her lovely name, and many of her descendants were also midwives.
