Mary Naomi Lee Harper 89, entered the gates of heaven in the early mornig of Monday Dec 29, 2008 in Maranatha Village surrounded by love and comfort of her family. Born April 17, 1919 in Sparta, Mo. she married Noel Harper on November 7, 1949, she was a member of the Glenstone Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She had worked for MSU and the Springfield School System.
Survived by 6 children , Vanetta Peters of Springfield, Forrest Harper of Branson, Nelda Belcher of Springfield, Vonna Gifford of Sparta, Kevin Harper , Denver, Co. Kerry Harper , Springfield, 11 grandchildren and 6 gr grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents Loda & Myrtle Abbott Lee , her husband ,2 brothers Eldon & Gordon Lee, grandson Richard Davis. Barnes of Ozark was in charge of graveside services December 31, 2008 in the Sparta I.O.O.F cemetery.
