The sudden and unexplainable removal of little Edna Catherine , three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Carss by death on Thursday morning last at Regina cast a gloom over the community. On the previous Saturday the the little child was taken to the general Hospital at Regina where it was necessary to make an operation which proved too great a strain for the little sufferer to bear. Bright and cheerful on the Saturday she departed and how sad was the home coming to the parents and friends of the family. Saturday afternoon the little remains were conveyed to the burial cemetery, The casket bearing the body being covered with flowers and followed by a large concourse of friends. Rev. E. S. Barton conducted the service at the home and grave and was assisted by Rev. James Russell of North Battleford.
