Henry W. ÒMuttÓ Deloach October 30, 1928- November 22, 2007 WAVERLY HALL, GA? Henry W. ÒMuttÓ Deloach, age 79, of Waverly Hall, Ga., died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at Columbus Hospice. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at the Waverly Hall City Cemetery, according to Smith-Steele-Meadows Funeral Home, Manchester, Ga. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 PM today at the funeral home. Mr. Deloach was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Richland, Ga., a son of Olin Deloach and Ophelia Hubbard Deloach. He was raised in Columbus, and was a resident of Waverly Hall since 1959. He worked over twenty-seven years as a Manager for Bowden-Littleton Construction Co., and was a member of Evangel Temple in Columbus, where he was active in his Sunday School class. He was also a member of the Gordon Masonic Lodge #108, F&AM, and the Georgia On-Sight Waste Water Association. He was a U. S. Marine Veteran, having served with the occupation forces in Asia, and was a founding member of the Waverly Hall Volunteer Fire Dept. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bryan Deloach. Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Bowden and her husband Rusty, of Waverly Hall. A granddaughter; Dowe Littleton and her husband Jamie, of Waverly Hall. A grandson, Tom Bowden III, of Columbus. A great-grandson, Josh Littleton of Barbourville, KY. A sister, Helen Reed of Columbus, Ga. A brother in law, Clarence Bryan and his wife Harriet, of Hapeville, Ga. Several nieces, nephews and cousins, including a special nephew, Frank Pemberton of Shiloh, Ga., and two special nieces, Linda Pemberton and Susie Hall, both of Waverly Hall. Flowers will be accepted, or those who desire may make memorial contributions to Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Rd., Columbus, Ga., 31909.
