Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service on Friday. Burial will be Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Armstrong was born in Shelby County on Jan. 11, 1898, daughter of William and Lida Nichols. She was a member of Prairie Avenue Christian Church and was a homemaker. She married Omis Foster Armstrong April 6, 1916. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are her son, William F. Armstrong of Decatur; daughter, Lida L. Spires of Naperville; granddaughter, Suzanne Bomgarden of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; great-granddaughter, Heidi Bomgarden of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers and two sisters.
