Dies In Hospital Here

Mrs. Robbie Lillian Shoaf Leonard 78, of R. 4, Lexington, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in Lexington Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Davidson County, May 11, 1890 to Robert and Clara Johnson Shoaf. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband H. Luther Leonard of the home; a son, Japhia H. Leonard of R. 4; four daughters, Mrs. J. B. Tarleton, Mrs. Elzavan Hinson, Mrs. Jack Pickett, and Mrs. Woodrow Leonard, all of R. 4, and Mrs. Alvin Pope of Welcome; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Wiley Shoaf of Forest Hill Road.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at First Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Mitchell Faulkner. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
