Served as a Navy Sea Bee during World War II and retired with 23 years as a Chief Petty Officer in the Naval Reserves on June 1, 1985. Mr. Gray was retired from B.O.C. in Lansing as a Foreman, retiring in 1985 and was a member of the UAW local 652. He also farmed in the 1950's and 60's.
Member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Eaton Rapids and the Knights of Columbus, a member of the American Legion in Hubbardston.
He enjoyed woodworking and hunting with his sons and grandsons.
