LAWHON , DAVID ALEXANDER "ALEX" - age 97, of 1355 Calloway Rd., Loudon, died Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at the home. Alex was a member of Steekee Creek Baptist Church, a Veteran of World War II, and a retired employee of T.V.A. Preceded in death by wives, Cynthia Bandy Lawhon and Lillie McDonald Lawhon parents, Sam and Anna Babb Lawhon son, David, Jr. granddaughter, Nikki brothers, Joe, Jessie, Lynn and Ed Lawhon , and sister, Bessie Mitchell. Survivors: five daughters, Mrs. Tom (Blanche) Lynn, Mrs. Bud (Mae) Webb, Iva Walden, Mrs. Phillip (Belle) Brown and Janice Thompson, all of Loudon 10 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren three great-great grandchildren sister, Hattie Wallace Parks and brother, Rob Lawhon and wife, Dora of Loudon, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. James Williford and Rev. Charles Hunt officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Thursday, Prospect Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Loudon Funeral Home.
