Services were Friday, June 18, at the Orient Street Church of Christ in Stamford with Chad Massie officiating. Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, directed by Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford.
Mrs. Hickman was born in Rhome and graduated from Stamford High School in 1917. She married Henry Clayton Hickman on Oct. 17, 1917 in Dallas. She was a retired Master Sergeant from the Air Force and served over 20 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Orient Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Loyd H. Hickman of Splendora; three nieces; and two nephews.

Amelia was named for her paternal grandmother, Amelia Miller Loop, and her maternal grandmother, Sarah Henrietta Wyatt Curtis.
Her husband was probably Henry Clay Hickman (b. Sept. 18, 1889 in Smith County, Mississippi; d. Jan. 12, 1950 in Fresno, California.
