Bobby Frank "Bob" Whitlow, age 76, of Fayetteville died Friday, August 28, 2009 in Washington Regional Medical Center, at Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He was born February 21, 1933 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the son of Chester and Clora (Cheatham) Whitlow.
Bob was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
Bob was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War,
He was a retiree of Tyson Foods.
He was a volunteer for Fayetteville's Meals on Wheels program.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; four siblings, Vern Whitlow, Leslie Whitlow, Glen Whitlow and Vera Mae Smith.
Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wanda Sue (Reed) Whitlow; three children, David Whitlow of Fayetteville, Douglas Whitlow of Van Buren and Susan Whitlow of Fort Smith; two grandsons; a brother, Wayne Whitlow of Amarillo, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday August 31, 2009, Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, with Pastor James Goff and Cotton Presley officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Comfort Cemetery.
