Former Prineville resident Amy Rose Hunt died in Richland, Washington, on Mon., Sept. 17, 2001. She was 86 years old.
She was born Oct. 10, 1914, to William and Mary Haliday Cary in Drain.
She married Robert Durward Hunt in 1935 in Roseburg. They moved to Oregon City in 1963 where Mr. Hunt served as a pastor for the Hillcrest Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a member of the Prineville Missionary Baptist Church and attended the Landmark Baptist Church in Hermiston.
Survivors include her sons; William Hunt of Anchorage, Alaska, Robert Hunt of Port Orchard, Wash., and Edgar Hunt of Hermiston; sister, Dottie Snook of Eugene and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Sclerosis Society, Oregon Chapter, 1650 NW Front Ave., Suite 190, Portland, Ore. 97209.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thurs., Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville.
