BOOTH, LEONARD M

Leonard M. Booth 74, of Brooker; passed away peacefully at the North Florida Regional medical Center in Gainesville after an extended illness. He was born in Homerville, Ga. living most of his life in Brooker. He was the son of the late Nicklas J. Booth and Jessie Burke Booth. He was preceded in death by a son; Randal Smith. He was a retired Plant Operator with Enron. He is a member of Praise Christian Assembly at Graham.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years; Maxine Smith Booth. 2 Daughters: Teresa A. Miller of Meadvill Pa; and Jessica R. Meres of Brooker. 3 Sons: Johnny M. Booth of Springfield, Mo. David E. Silcox of Brooker and David Booth of Foley, Ala. 18 Grandchildren and 6 Greatgrandchildren.

Funeral will be held Sunday August 30, 2009 at 2:00 P. M. in the Chapel of Archer Funeral Home. Rev. Archie Smith is officiating. Burial will follow in Dedan Cemetery under the care of Archer Funeral. Home of Lake Butler. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p. m. Saturday evening.
