Funeral services for Lois C. Coker, age 94, 3481 Denham Rd., Sycamore, Ga., will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in Prospect Cemetery. Mrs. Coker died Sunday, May 22, 2005 in Ashburn Health Care following an extended illness.

Mrs. Coker was born in Turner County and had resided here all of her life. She was the daughter of the late John Y. and Lillie May Metcalf Christian. She was the retired owner and operator of Coker's Store in the Bethel Community. She was a member of the Sycamore United Methodist Church. Mrs. Coker's hobbies were cooking and tending to the needs of others.

She was the widow of Bob S. Coker who died in 1976.

Mrs. Coker is survived by two sons, John N. Coker and Bobby S. Coker both of Sycamore, Ga.; one daughter, Laura C. Wiggins of Warner Robins, Ga. She is also survived by one sister, Sybil Gandy of Ashburn, Ga., six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
