Edward E. Crawford, 79, of Worthington R.D. 1, died Saturday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin. Born Feb. 22, 1911, in Creswell, Pa., he was the son of Blaine and Susan Tracey Crawford. Mr. Crawford was a member of the Criswell Methodist Church. He retired in 1979 as a self-employed steel hauler. Surviving are his wife, Edith Custer Crawford; five sons, Edward L. Crawford of Ripley, N.Y., Donald Crawford of Kittanning R.D. 7, Charles Crawford of Worthington, Dean Crawford of Ford City, and Frank Crawford; seven daughters, Mrs. Paul (Patricia) Booher of Kittanning, Mrs. Charles (BArbars) Bemish of DeBarry, Fla., Mrs. Ronald (Judy) Anthony, both of Adrian R.D. 1, Mrs. Herbert (Diane) Wagner of Templeton, Doris Brison of Kittanning R.D. 8, and Mrs. Carl (Susan) Barton of Worthington; 49 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons, two brothers, and two sisters. CRAWFORD-Friends of Edward E. Crawford of Worthington R.D. 1, who died Saturday, Oct. 13, 1990, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Cowansville and from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Worthington Baptist Church. Services will be held at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Walter Pifer, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at the Cowansville Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
