Elzy H. Haddox, 89, of Winnfield, died at 5:55 p.m. Sunday, May 30, in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Grant Parish.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church of Winnfield with Dr. W. L. Holcomb, the Rev. Ray Teal, and the Rev. C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Montgomery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Survivors are a son, Bluch Haddox of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Perot Daniel of Winnfield and Mrs. E. L. Jennings of Atlanta; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two treat-great grandchildren.
