EATON - Howard S. Eaton, son of Uriah and Emma Eaton, was born at Ludington, Wis., September 21, 1877 and passed away at his home in Pardeeville, Wis. Satruday afternoon Sept. 20, 1913. Just lacking on day of being 36 years of age. He had just returned from a trip to Florida where he contracted malarial fever. Soon after returning he was taken seriously ill, the illness lasting but one week. The deceased was broght from his home in Pardeeville to Ludington, his hold home, for burial. It is also the burial place of his father who died one year ago in May.
When very young he left his home in Ludington and went to South Dakota to make his home. At the age of twenty he was united in marriage to Miss Rosetta Eaton of Britton, South Dakota. To them were born five children, two sons and three daughters, all living; Ervin aged 15, Edna aged 12, Nettie aged 11, Gladys aged 8, Russell aged 6.
He was a kind and loving father, a faithful husband, a dutiful son and loving brother. His family, a mother and five brothers are left to mourn his loss.
Services were conducted at the school house by Rev. Stubbert of Baptist chruch, assisted by the Baptist choir and burial made in teh Ludington Cemetery.
