Cooper Review- MArch 5, 1998-Mrs. Beulah Evelyn Foster of Klondike passed away Wednesday night, February 25th at the Birchwood Manor Nursing Home in Cooper. Funeral services were held at 2PM Friday, February 27th at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Rich Flynn of Commerce officiating and internment in the New Klondike Cemetery. Mrs. Foster was born in Red River County, June 16, 1909. She was the daughter of William Cockrum and Annie Warren Cockrum. She married Lyman Talton Foster in August 1927 and he preceded her in death November 10, 1973. Survivors include two sons, George Foster of Klondike and Verdis Foster of Ben Franklin; four daughters, Elizabeth Sweat of Klondike, Mary Howse of Klondike, Clara Cooper of Wichita Falls and Wanda Self of Winnsboro; 20 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Ellis, Odell and L.T. Foster, Jr.; grandson, Alvie Foster; granddaughter, Lisa Moore; four sisters and five brothers. Pallbearers were Gene Foster, Wayne Foster, Mike Howse, J.T. Self, James Howse, Danny Howse and honorary pallbearers, James David Howse, Christopher Villarreal and Allen Foster.
