Reta Bellamy, age 92, of Camden Township, died Monday morning, February 2, at her home. She was born on May 19, 1916, in Wellington. She was a 1924 graduate of Camden
High School. She worked at Mueller's Packing House in Oberlin, Standard Drug Store in Oberlin, and also at her father's general store in Kipton. She attended
Camden Baptist Church and donated the land for the present church location. She enjoyed cats and square dancing and played with the Camden Fiddlers.
She is survived by her niece, Donna (George) Brlas of Wellington, and a nephew, Richard Armatrout of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy, her parents, Frank and Anna (Perkins) Searles, and two sisters, Ruth White and Ethel Earl.
Friends may call on Wednesday, February 4, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper St., Wakeman. Services will be held on Thursday, February 5, at 11 a.m. at the Camden Baptist Church on SR 511, south of SR 303.
Pastors Larry Nocella and Bill Kopas will be officiating. Burial will follow at Camden Cemetery.
