Ala. and formerly of Brighton
Township, died Sunday at home
after a long illness.
She was born in Camden
Township.
Survivors include her husband,
James; daughters, Rachel
Patton of Peru and Linda Duffield
of Edinburg, Tex.; stepdaughters,
Joyce Bibb of North
Carolina, Kay Smith of Indiana
and Mary Thomas of Florida; a
son, Raymond Belts of Bonita,
Calif; a stepson, Larry Meek of
Eclectic, Ala.; 10 grandchildren,
22 step-grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; 12 stepgreat-
grandchildren; a sister,
Glada Damron of Grafton; and
brothers, Elver Searles of Colorado
and Russell Searles of
Wellington.
She was preceded in death by
her first husband, Earl Betts, in
1978 and a son, Richard Betts, in
1991.
Friends may call 7:30-9:30
p.m. Wednesday at Ihe Norton
Funeral Home, South Main
Street, Wellington. Services will
be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at
Camden Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Camden
Cemetery in Camden Township.
