Death OF A GOOD CITIZEN

H .Whatley,aged 71 years ,one of Gregg county's honorable and highly respected citizens, died last night at 12 o'clock after a long illness .
Mr.Whatley was a native of Alabama and came to this section of Texas in 1871 . He is survived by a widow and nine children,all married and to them we tender our sincere sympathy.
The remains were interred at Judson at 4 o'clock this afternoon .
