Mrs. W. J. Cline Died Sunday About Noon. Mrs. W. J. Cline, long-time resident of Gage community when she and her late husband lived on their farm northeast of Gage, until they moved to Woodward several years ago, died at Mooreland hospital Sunday.
Mrs. Cline had not been well for a year or so, but was up and around most of the time. About three weeks ago she visited here in the home of her son, Roe Cline and wife, and was among those who attended the Ellis County Sunday School Convention held at Gage Methodist church. For the past two weeks she was a patient in Mooreland hospital and for about a week her condition was serious, and members of the family were with her much of the time.
Mrs. Cline was always a good neighbor and friend and ever helpful to anyone needing her assistance. She always had an influence for good. Her going away brings sadness to a large circle of relatives and friends.
Survivors include her two sons, John of Enid and Roe of Gage; her two daughters, Mrs. John R. Taylor of Palestine, Ill. and Mrs. Cecil Davis of Las Animas, Colorado, besides grandchildren and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Nazarene church in Woodward and the remains laid to rest beside her husband in Woodward cemetery.
