Mrs. Earl L McCall
Funeral services for Mrs. Ella McCall, 90, of Geelong Australia, formerly of Tompkins St., Olean, were held in Geelong Wednesday (Feb. 13, 1974). Burial was in Perryville, Pa.
Mrs. McCall died Tuesday (Feb. 12, 1974) in Australia where she resided with her son Donald A. McCall for the past year and a half.
Born Oct. 26, 1884, at DuBois, Pa., she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kicher. In 1905 at Steubenville, Ohio, she married Earl L. McCall, who died Oct. 22, 1960.
Mrs. McCall was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olean where she served as deaconess for three years. She was also a member of the Missionary Society of the church; its Burden Bearers Sunday School Class; its, Fellowship; the Senior Group of the Church and its Grandmother's Club. She also belonged to the Olean Senior League and Amaranth.
Surviving, in addition to her son of Australia, are another son, Earl E. McCall of Hamlin with whom she first resided when she left Olean in 1962; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Joe (Betty) Trapp of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Olean.
