Appears on post-war Record Roll compiled by Thomas J. Griffin, former Captain of Company I, dated 28 June 1866 with notation of enlistment/tranfer/substitution and other notations "Married", "Farmer" and address "P.O. LaFayette, AL";
Appears on Muster Roll of "Company 'I' 37th Regiment, Alabama Volunteers at LaFayette, Chambers County, Alabama, March 6, 1862" published in 31 July 1901 issue of LaFayette Sun (LaFayette, Chambers County AL) with Privates as "Jordan, Chris C., substitute for J.H. Harris"; "Chrisopher C Jordan" Listed as Private in muster roll of Company I published by T.J. Carlisle in 1902; POSSIBLY, in fact probably Christopher Columbus Jordan, brother of Dennis Rivers Jordan (Company B) and son of C.E. "Kit" Jordan (Company B) said by family history to have "enlisted with his father and brothers", if so, he was born 28 Dec 1842 in Randolph County AL -- other brothers (possibly other men in the regiment) are John T. Jordan born 1841 in TN, William Riley Jordan, born 22 Jan 1838.
