Betty graduated from Benton High School in 1937. She was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was a current member of Hyde Valley United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Quilters Group. Betty enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, but most of all loved being with the grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Fay Cotter, her parents, seven brothers, James, Varley, Davy, Walter, Landon, Gayell, and Robert Crockett; and six sisters, Iva Bunten, Alpha Madden, Hazel Duty, Mildred Dyer, Helen Farris, and Ruth Jackson.
