She may have died in the year 1888 instead. She married first to Adam Spring about 1803, as she states she was 13 years old when she was married the first time on her widow pension application. She married second to Daniel Dugan on 19 August 1813 in Moreland, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Catherine was living with her son, Peter Spring, on the 1860 census. She applied for a widow's pension on 3 January 1877 for Daniel's service during the Revolutionary War.
