Mrs. Rebekah (Fettyplace) (Hooper) Picket was born in Marblehead and baptized at First Congregational Church. She was the daughter of Capt. Edward Fettyplace, Esq. and Elizabeth Hinds of 19 Orne Street, Marblehead.

Rebekah Fettyplace married 1st. on 8 Jul 1783, Henry Hooper, a "shoreman" in Marblehead who was bpt. 12 Jul 1761 the son of Robert D. Hooper and Abigail Blaney. Henry Hooper died 14 Nov 1793. There are no children recorded in Marblehead from the marriage of Rebekah Fettyplace and Henry Hooper. Robert D. Hooper was bpt. 24 Nov 1706 the son of Henry Hooper and Mary Norman.

Mrs. Rebekah (Fettyplace) Hooper married 2nd. on 12 Nov 1795 Capt. William Picket bpt. 25 Aug 1754 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Marblehead. He was the son of Joseph Picket and Bethia Jackson who married in Marblehead 16 Jul 1753.

Capt. William Picket and Rebekah Fettyplace had 2 children bpt. at First Religous Society (Unitarian) in Newburyport.

1. Rebecca Picket bpt. 12 Oct 1797.

2. Elizabeth Picket bpt. 10 Jul 1801.
